# Abandoned Carts

An Abandoned Carts is an automated solution that detects when a customer leaves items in their online shopping cart without completing the purchase. It then sends personalized email reminders featuring the abandoned products, encouraging the customer to return and complete their order. The system allows you to set a follow-up delay and customize the email content to align with your brand’s messaging.

  1. To set the Abandoned Carts automation navigate to SHOP Dashboard and click on Abandoned Carts in quick links menu.

  1. Enter the following setting in Abandoned carts:
    • Check Abandoned carts follow up enabled checkbox to enable it.
    • Select one of the available hours for Abandoned carts follow-up delay.
    • Add custom email content to Custom email contents to be shown in the Abandoned carts email.

  1. Click Submit Submit button green button to save it.

Note

Abandoned carts will be sent only to customers who are registered as shop users and those who went through a quick purchase step. If the user was not logged in and left the page before adding their email address, they will not receive the notification.
