# Image import

Image import allows you to import multiple images to DG1 and match them to the already imported or added products. To prepare images for import, be sure to save them with specific names (containing EAN, GTNIS, SKU or ID) that connect each one to its product.

Once you’ve sorted out their names, save the images you want to import in a ZIP folder on your computer or in a cloud system. To use images on specific areas of the product page (main image, bottom gallery etc.), see the table with examples of naming rules below.

Image location Rule Example
Mark image as a main image The name of the image must be a number. 23.png
Mark image as a cover image The name of the image must be a string (without spaces), starting with a number, followed by an underscore and the word "cover". 23_cover.png
Add image to the gallery The name of the image must be a string (without spaces), starting with a number, followed by an underscore, and an alphanumeric description of your choice. 23_1.png, 23_test.png
